How to access Virtual Lab?
- Visit https://www.utoledo.edu/it/VLab/ and click on vlab.utoledo.edu for academic virtual labs (like UT Open).
- You will be prompted to open VMware Horizon Client. Allow it to open the client and login with your UTAD credentials.
- Multiple virtual lab options will appear and you can choose the desired one.
Can I access the Virtual Lab and Desktop simultaneously?
Yes,
- Visit vlab.utoledo.edu and log in using UTAD credentials.
- A new tab will be opened in the same browser allowing access to the virtual lab.
How to access files from the Desktop in the Virtual Lab?
- In the VLab, go to MyFiles.
- Navigate to Network locations and double-click on 'Y Drive'.
- This drive contains all the data stored on the original computer.
For small-sized documents and files you can also:
- When on a local desktop, save files to your OneDrive or Google Drive.
- Go to the VLab and login to your Drive location.
